Adventure Awaits!
Welcome to “Are we there yet?” My name is Jack Delorey. I’m 13 years old and heading into 8th grade. Ever since I was little, traveling has been a big part of my family’s culture. I’ve been lucky enough to go to places from northern Wisconsin to southern Florida, Washington state to Washington D.C. With the uncertainty of what school would look like this year due to COVID-19, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We bought an RV, signed up for an online school, and planned a trip around the United States to see the amazing things this country has to offer. I know there will be challenges with having five people in such a small space, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I’m super grateful for.
Along for the ride are my siblings, Will (age 11), Ben (age 9), and Evie (age 7), and my mom, Stef, (who tells me that age is just a number). My dad, Ed, unfortunately, is staying home to finance this venture but plans to meet up with us as many times as possible along the way.
