Crater of Diamonds

We’re getting close to home! Driving through Arkansas today looked a lot like South Carolina. It also turns out there is not much to do in Arkansas. We were going to go to an old prospector city by the hot springs but it wasn’t open. Then we discovered the Crater of Diamonds. The name alone made us want to go check it out. I don’t know what I expected. It was a giant field where there are supposedly diamonds. One kid near us did actually find a small one, but it was bigger then anything we found! We all got bored pretty quick and went back to play at the RV park.
