Payne’s Prairie

This was another great part of living in Gainesville. It was always fun to come down and look at the gators. We always saw about 3 or 4, and that’s what I expected to see this time. NOPE! WE SAW SO MANY GATORS! There we at least 200 just chilling in the sun and who knows how many more underwater. We even saw one catch a fish and swallow it whole! We didn’t even get to the end of the trail because a gator had plopped itself right in the middle of the path.
