Rialto Beach

After a long drive we arrived in Forks, Washington. It’s where the twilight books were set, so that was kinda cool. After meeting up with grandma and grandpa (yay!) we started our drive to Rialto Beach. It wasn’t like any beach I had ever been to. It was rocky and had giant drift wood logs. The waves were huge and the water was freezing. For the first half mile or so we had some fun climbing around on them. We also made some cairns. Mine fell over but Will’s stood up.

Mom accidentally took us out at high tide and eventually after accidentally getting wet (WILL), even we couldn’t resist those big waves. We took off most of our clothes and went barbaric. We nearly went full lord of the flies, but it didn’t go that far. It was interesting to see a new kind of beach.
