Hoh Rainforest

Today we visited the rainforest of Washington. We drove about 45 minutes and made it to our hikes. The drive was very unlike the other part of Olympic. The treees were so tall and mossy. The first hike was along this mountain stream. A lot of the trees had exposed roots and in some we could all fit.

The second hike was similar but it ended at a river that drains into Rialto. We also saw the largest roots I have ever seen. There were trees growing out of it. Afterword Grandpa and I decided to take the bikes around the city. We made it to the museum of lumber and some of the twilight spots. He brought his electric bikes so we could go really fast. My record was 28 mph on flat ground and 32 mph downhill.
